Infra-red Vehicle Identity System
In a little over two months we designed, trialled manufactured and delivered 733 of these innovative systems which reduce the risk of ‘friendly fire’ incidents, and supplied a further 637 sets of ready-to-use spares.
Portable Diesel Generators
When the British Army needed to replace their petrol generators to comply with new fuel regulations we supplied 2500 portable diesel ones.
Euromux Conference Facility
Brigade Command identified a conference call capability as an essential operational requirement for their existing Euromux exchange, so we designed and produced a facility enabling them to conference up to sixteen lines and delivered four systems within eight weeks.
Euromux Management and Data System
The Euromux Management and Data System verifies the integrity of the Euromux network by monitoring the system state and by producing test messages. Under subcontract to BAeSEMA we supplied 13 Multiplexer Interface Units to interpret the data sent between MUXCOs on external links and also ruggedised and containerised 20 Node Management Sub-systems, including the integration of associated COTS equipment. Both tasks were completed ahead of the programme schedule.
Euromux to Clansman Interface
Within an eight week programme, we designed and supplied six stand-alone units which provide the necessary interfacing between Clansman radios and the Euromux communications system.
Remote CPI Control
To reduce manning at overseas communications installations, we developed and produced a remote control facility that controls up to four Ptarmigan Common Processor Installations from a single PC at a remote location, and have since upgraded the equipment to include journal printer and video monitoring facilities.
Electronic Football Flag Sets
Used in Premier League and First Division matches, Drumgrange designed and manufactured Electronic Flag Sets that greatly improve communications between the referee and linesmen. We manufactured and delivered 85 sets (340 units) within 4 weeks of placement of order.
