Drumgrange Employees raise over £8.5K for Charity in 2015

Drumgrange employees did their bit for charity in 2015 by raising over £8,500.00 for various charities throughout the year.

Throughout the year £1,557.30 was raised for MS Society through the website easyfundraising.org.uk. The website allows companies to make donations by purchasing online from participating companies.

Natalie Marti, Purchasing Manager for Drumgrange, commented:

“It is important for us at Drumgrange Ltd to be able to raise funds for charity when we can.  By using easyfundraising, it is has given us the ability to raise money for MS Society little by little on a daily basis, which is fantastic.  It is a great feeling to be able to send a cheque through to MS Society at the end of the quarter and with the process being so quick and easy, the total raised soon adds up”

 In November 2015, a team of Drumgrange employees donned Santa suits to take part in Santa Dash 2015 in Swinley Forest. The team was delighted to raise £720.00 in aid of Thames Hospice by participating in the 5K fun run, 10K cycle or both.  

A staggering £6,314.00 was raised for Macmillian Cancer Support by Portland based Scott Martin. Scott participated in the ‘Longest Day Golf Challenge’. The challenge involves a team of four completing 72 holes, 300 shots and a 20 mile walk all in just one day.

Drumgrange chose to support the Help for Heroes charity this year by donating 10p per Christmas card sent.
